On August 5th, Touchstone Home Entertainment will release the blockbuster
Bringing
Down The House on DVD and VHS. During its domestic run,
the film grossed a little over $125 million dollars and was number
one at box office for three consecutive weeks. The #1 comedy of
the year stars Steve Martin as a straight-laced attorney who goes
on a blind date with someone he met in a chat room. The evening
turns ugly for him when his date (Queen
Latifah) turns out to be a prison escape who ends up being the
maid of the house. Also featured in the film are Eugene Levy, Joan
Plowright and Betty White. Bringing Down the House is directed
by Adam Shankman and written by Jason Filardi.
