Synopsis:
This is an adaptation of Robert Penn Warren's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel about a populist Southern politician. The protagonist of Warren's novel is actually Jack Burden (Jude Law), a journalist who falls under Stark's spell and loses his idealism in the process. Penn plays Willie Stark an aide to Sadie (Clarkson). Hopkins will play Judge, while Gandolfini would play Tiny.
