The Tribeca Film Festival saw a second pic draw a distribution pact Tuesday, when Gary Rubin's First Independent Pictures and HBO Video teamed to pick up "Mini's First Time," by writer-helmer Nick Guthe.

Last week, indie banner Strand Releasing scooped up Emmanuelle Bercot's French-language Tribeca pic "Backstage" (Daily Variety, April 27).

"Mini's First Time" stars Nikki Reed, Alec Baldwin, Luke Wilson, Jeff Goldblum, Carrie-Anne Moss, Rick Fox and Svetlana Metkina.

Dark comedy follows a teen who's attracted to the seedier side of L.A. nightlife. After she begins a sexual relationship with her stepfather, the duo scheme to have the teen's mother committed to a mental institution.

First Independent has skedded a summer rollout for the pic, which had its world preem Monday at Tribeca. Distrib also takes TV rights, while HBO will roll out pic on DVD.

Edward Bass, Evan Astrowsky, Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti produced the film through the Trigger Street and Bold Films banners. Michel Litvak, Gary Michael Walters and Dan Grodnik exec produced.

Pic is next skedded to open the Solstice Film Festival in St. Paul, Minn., on July 21.

Bold Films' credits include "Slingshot," "Come Early Morning" and the upcoming "Bobby."

First Independent's previous rollouts include the rock docu "New York Doll."
