Synopsis: “A Day In The Life” is a Hip Hop, action-drama, musical, feature film starring Sticky Fingaz who is making his directorial debut. The film includes many of Hollywood’s elite actors and actresses such as Mekhi Phifer, Omar Epps, Michael Rapaport, Bokeem Woodbine, Drena De Niro (Robert’s daughter), Tyrin Turner, Faizon Love, Fredro Starr, Troy Garity, Treach, Mike Williams and Malinda Williams just to name a few.

The film begins as the sun rises, it’s just another day in the life of Sticky’s character and concludes before sunset of the same day. The story takes the audience on a wild journey through one day as witnesses to an intense street war between two rival crime families. Sticky’s clan is the underdog of the two families and is pushed into the war by Black, played by Faizon Love, who heads the more powerful crime family. Black’s family draws first blood by raiding one of Sticky’s drug houses and killing two of his men. From that point on, Sticky’s character struggles with the moral dilemma of either calling off his life of crime or seeking revenge and continuing the ongoing feud.

The word is out that Black has put a contract out on Sticky’s life, using a professional hitman, played by Mekhi Phifer. Sticky’s decision becomes even more complicated when his girlfriend, Heaven (played by newcomer Melinda Santiago), breaks the news that she’s pregnant. On top of all his problems, two detectives played by Michael Rapaport and Tyrin Turner are now hot on his trail.

Sticky’s character is caught between good and evil. He seeks guidance from his older brother, played by Bokeem Woodbine, who has just touched down in Los Angeles from New York. Bokeem’s character gives Sticky his blessings while his cousin Phya, played by Sticky’s real-life first cousin Fredro Starr, seeks revenge for the blood already shed by Black’s army in the ongoing clash between the two crime families. He lastly confides in “P”, his longtime friend/business partner, and mob boss of a powerful and wealthy family, who’s character is played by Drena De Niro.

The film concludes with Sticky’s character making the conscious and moral decision to flee the country with Heaven, the mother of his unborn child. They attempt to fly out on a private jet which Omar Epps’ character provides. Before boarding the plane, a vicious gun battle ensues between the majority of the key players in the film. Who will remain standing when the smoke clears?

Sticky Fingaz wrote, directed, produced and stars in this unique film.
