John Leguizamo, Tyrese Gibson, Rosie Perez, Meagan Good, The Rza, Bobby Cannavale, and newcomer Astrelle Johnquest will star in the indie revenge saga "The Take."

Leguizamo plays an armored-truck driver who is shot during a heist in East Los Angeles and goes to great lengths after rehabilitation to track down the criminal (Gibson) who shattered his life. The low-budget film will be shot guerilla-style without sets in predominantly Latino neighborhoods. Shooting is set to begin in September.

Rosie Perez will play the wife of Leguizamo's character, while Bobby Cannavale will play an FBI agent.

Music video veteran Brad Furman will make his feature directorial debut on the film, which was written by Josh and Jonas Pate (creators of NBC series "Surface").

Leguizamo most recently lent his voice to "Ice Age: The Meltdown" and will be featured in "The Groosmen". Gibson's credits include "Annapolis" and "Waist Deep", which also stars Meagan Good.
