Opening on Sept. 27th

In an incredible twist of fate, a Scottish doctor (James McAvoy) on a Ugandan medical mission becomes irreversibly entangled with one of the world's most barbaric figures: Idi Amin (Forest Whitaker). Impressed by Dr. Garrigan's brazen attitude in a moment of crisis, the newly self-appointed Ugandan President Amin hand picks him as his personal physician and closest confidante. Reviews

Latest Review Additions:

All The King's Men review (in Film )

This pretentious, meandering rehash devotes more attention to recreating the ambiance of a bygone era than to addressing, in a meaningful manner, the myriad moral questions it raises.

Jet's Li Fearless review (in Film )

The stunts are nowhere near as spectacular as your typical Bruce Lee high attrition-rate adventure because the special effects are mostly old school instead of state-of-the-art.

The Black Dahlia review (in Film )

In seeing this film, you’ll end up going to Blockbusters afterwards to find films of yesteryear when looking for a good film noir.

Hollywoodland review (in Film )

Hollywoodland is worthwhile for the amusement of the escape to that bygone era alone.

Kinky Boots DVD review (in Film )

The reason this movie is so highly recommended is because of the radiant performance of Chiwetel Ejiofor who’s at his very best, here, looking every bit as if he were born to play drag queen.

Black. White. DVD review (in Film )

A riveting reality series which originally aired on the FX Network this past Spring.
