Taye Diggs news Diggs to play vampire leader in 'Dead of Night' Source: Shocktilyoudrop.com With his TV series 'Private Practice' getting ready for summer break, Taye Diggs is going back to films. His next one is in the horror genre. 'Dead of Night' is based on the popular Italian comic books 'Dylan Dog' by Tiziano Sclavi. According to Shocktilyoudrop.com, Diggs will play 'Night's' leader of the vampires. Brandon Routh and Sam Huntington, who both starred in 'Superman Returns,' will star as a Louisiana detective and his sidekick who are approached by a woman claiming to have seen her father brutally murdered by a mysterious creature. The film is currently shooting in the New Orleans area.
