Any idea what happens when two wealthy people get together and exchange vows only to find out they are both broke? Well The Newlyweds is a romantic comedy about a couple that meet thinking the other is rich and decide to get married quickly before, their covers are blown! You are cordially invited to witness the nuptials in this hip & hilarious comedy!!! What happens when a maid pretends dresses up in her bosses clothes while they are on vacation and finally meets the man of her dreams who happens to be a fast talking hustler pretending to be rich? THEY GET MARRIED! When Shaun Wilson hits rock bottom he decides the only way for him to reach his goals is to find a Sugar Momma - that's when he meets Mallory Calderone, a live-in housekeeper for a billionaire, who happens to be house sitting for two months. Both portray to one another that they are rich and rush to get married, only to find out they're both broke! Can these imposters survive love and no wealth?
The Newlyweds is written and directed by Beverly Orozco, produced by Terrence Patterson and stage managed by Shawna Cathey of Aditi Pictures.
The comedy features Ben Rivers (Shaun Wilson), Giselle Rodriguez (Mallory Calderone), Agueda Ramirez (Isabelle Vasquez), Phillip J. Smith (Percy Wilson), Leslie Frohberg (Mrs. Wilson), Christopher Williams (Jacob Adler), Latreesch "Lucey" Simmons (Ashley Adler), Christopher Williams (Joshua Adler) and Shawnette Hamilton-Robertson (Connie Adler).
