Malcolm D. Lee to direct LeBron James in sports comedy 'Fantasy Basketball Camp.'

From documentaries to feature films, LeBron James is making his presence felt in the film world. The NBA All-Star is next set to star in Malcolm D. Lee's sports comedy 'Fantasy Basketball Camp.'

The Hollywood Reporter states that the story follows five men who come to Las Vegas to live out their fantasy of attending the LeBron James Adult Basketball Camp only to end up dragging James into their various life issues.

Originally written by Babaloo Mandel and Lowell Ganz, Peter Steinfeld is reportedly writing a new draft.

Lee last directed the Bernie Mac-Samuel L. Jackson dramedy 'Soul Men.' James was last featured in Lionsgate's documentary 'More Than a Game.'

Universal Pictures will distribute 'Basketball Camp.'omen, known only by a color -- deal with such subjects as love, abandonment, rape, and abortion, garnered much acclaim, becoming the toast of Broadway when it opened at The Booth Theater in 1976.
