Mike Tyson Back in the Sequel

October 28, 2010

With all the hoopla surrounding the studio casting of Mel Gibson in ‘The Hangover 2,’ then taking its offer back amidst internal turmoil by the cast and crew, at least one guy can relax about not having his past come back to haunt him – Mike Tyson.

Having made a hilarious appearance as himself in the original, the former heavyweight champion recently told The New York Post that he would have worked with Gibson had he stayed on the film.

“I’m not going to ever in my life point my finger at anyone. I don’t live in a glass house. None of us do. I work with anybody, as long as they’re respectful,” said Tyson.

Gibson was scheduled to make a cameo appearance as a Bangkok tattoo artist, but has been replaced by Liam Neeson.

With shooting taking place in Thailand, Tyson will fly over to join Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Bartha.

‘The Hangover’ was a critical and commercial success, becoming the tenth highest-grossing film of 2009, with a worldwide gross of over $467 million.
