Exclusive: Mike Colter Joins Zero Dark Thirty

Blackfilm.com has learned that Mike Colter, who was recently seen opposite Sarah Michelle Geller in the now-cancelled CW series ‘Ringer,’ has joined the cast of Kathryn Bigelow’s Bin Laden film, ‘Zero Dark Thirty.’

Written by Hurt Locker screenwriter Mark Boal, the film centers on the Navy SEAL team who hunted down and killed Osama Bin Laden.

Colter, who will play a member of the Navy SEAL team, joins a cast that includes Jason Clarke, Joel Edgerton, Mark Duplass, Chris Pratt, Kyle Chanler, Harold Perrineau, Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong, and Edgar Ramirez.

Colter will next be seen in ‘Men in Black III’ with Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, and Josh Brolin. Other past film credits include ‘Million Dollar Baby,’ with Hilary Swank, and ‘Salt.’

The South Carolina native also has a recurring role as Lemond Bishop on the CBS drama series ‘The Good Wife.’
