Blackfilm.com recently had the opportunity to speak with two of the hottest people, Salim and Mara Brock Akil about being a Hollywood Power Couple following their discussion “A Conversation with Salim and Mara Brock-Akil” at the 2012 American Black Film Festival (ABFF).

Between the two of them, they have written, produced, and directed a variety of TV series and films, such as Soul Food, Girlfriends, The Game, Jumping the Broom, and the upcoming TV series Being Mary Jane, and the film, Sparkle.
