Katt Williams, who was last seen in the comedy film The Obama Effect, has landed a starring role in Dimension’s Scary Movie 5, states The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor, rapper and stand-up comedian joins a cast that includes s includes Ashley Tisdale, Erica Ash, Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Simon Rex, Molly Shannon, Terry Crews, Marisa Saks, Heather Locklear, Jasmine Guy, Angie Stone, Kate Walsh, Angela “Big Ang” Raiola, Sherée Whitfield, boxing legend Mike Tyson, The Hills star Audrina Patridge and Kendra Wilkinson in the fifth outing of the popular spoof franchise.

Malcolm Lee is directing Scary Movie 5 from a script penned by David Zucker.

The plot involves Three dancers — one veteran performer and two upstarts who are also best friends — vie for the lead in a new production from a snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed director.

Snooty, aloof, imperious, and oversexed French dance company director Pierre is putting on a new production. Jody (played by Ashley Tisdale), a Caucasian late-20s mother of two and her late-20s African American friend Kendra (played by Erica Ash) are both vying for the lead in the production. Jody’s extremely controlling former dancer mother is determined that Jody will have the brilliant career that eluded her. The highly skilled mid-30s Diva veteran dancer with the company, Heather Daltry (played by Molly Shannon), gets cut from the production and goes berserk.
Williams is best known for his character Money Mike in the movie Friday After Next. He also is widely recognized for his three seasons on Nick Cannon’s improv series Wild N’ Out.

Williams has starred in skits and videos for such artists as E-40, The Game, Lil Jon, Lil’ Kimm, Ludacris, Outkast, T.I., Oprah Winfrey and Lyfe Jennings.

He is a staple comedian on BET, appearing on shows such as Comic View, Rip the Runway and The BET Awards.
