Bokeem Woodbine Latest To Join ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Cast

THR is reporting that Bokeem Woodbine has joined the cast of Sony and Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

With Jon Watts directing Sony’s reboot of the “Spider-Man” franchise, Attah joins Tom Holland as Peter Parker, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, Michael Keaton as the villain, Kenneth Choi as Peter’s high school Principal and Zendaya as Michelle, Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover, Martin Starr, Michael Barbieri, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., J.J. Totah, Hannibal Burress, and Beast of No Nation actor Abraham Attah who was added earlier this week.

The site states that “Character details are scarce, but sources say Woodbine joins Michael Keaton and Logan Marshall-Green as a villain.”

Robert Downey Jr. is set to reprise his role as Tony Stark (Iron Man). Both Holland and Tomei appeared with Downey Jr. in “Captain America: Civil War.”

Spider-Man- Homecoming

Kevin Feige is producing with Amy Pascal. Production is expected to star this summer with the film hitting theaters on July 7, 2017.

Most recently seen in season two of FX’s Fargo, Woodbine is known for his roles in the Hughes brothers’ Dead Presidents, Doug McHenry’s Jason’s Lyric, Mario Van Peebles’ Panther, Michael Bay’s The Rock, and M. Night Shyamalan-produced supernatural thriller Devil.
