Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, introduced a huge panel of stars who will appear in the movie to include Paul Bettany, Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Karen Gillan, Elizabeth Olsen, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, David Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Sebastian Stan, Chadwick Boseman, Josh Brolin, and Benedict Cumberbatch. And would you believe this isn’t the entire cast? It’s no wonder D23 spared no expense in giving fans all the detailed goodies in what to expect from in Avengers Infinity War.

You see, because the Marvel universe is connected, every movie has lead up to this point. The Avengers have fought against Loki and defeated him. Then the group reunited for another battle against Ultron. This caused the group to split into #teamCap and #teamIronman. Tony Stark and Steve Rogers didn’t see eye to eye over the Slovakia accords (an edict set by the American government that meta-humans should be monitored). This lead to the third installment, Avengers Civil War. Once the war was over, the group split up and went their separate ways, but that only last for so long. As we go in the fourth Avengers film, it’s an all out fight involving everyone currently in the cinematic universe.

Kevin Feige is a bit of a trickster because he first showed a montage mashup of Marvel movie of the last 10 years. But that clip was a segways right into footage of the Infinity War. Basically, Feige trolled us all, and I am here for it!

The footage starts with Thor being slammed face first into a ship being piloted by Star-Lord. Then we see Thanos beating the crap out of even the strongest Avengers, and destroying worlds. Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and the Dora Milaje gear up for a battle (most likely defending Wakanda from Thanos). A bearded Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) shows up to take his place in the war, is he a leader or has he gone rogue? Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) ditches the red wig for golden locks as she has gone from redhead to blonde. We also see Tony Stark standing next to Star Lord as they admire the carnage that Thanos has left in his path.

I don’t want to give away too much more, but what I saw totally blew my mind. And to think, the film is only halfway finished filming. Every Avenger, and every Guardian is included, along with Spider-Man, Ant-Man, Vision, Thor, and many others. With all of those characters involved it makes me wonder how they are going to cram so much storytelling into a few hours. But if it’s anything like their previous films, then it looks to be a wild ride.

Avengers Infinity War continues shooting in Atlanta, GA. The movie is scheduled for release May 4, 2018.
