Yesterday, August 4, JAY-Z has released the latest music video off his new album 4:44, this time for the song “Moonlight.” Directed by Master of None co-creator Alan Yang, the video is an alternate version to the popular NBC television sitcom “Friends,” where the characters are portrayed by black actors.

Jerrod Carmichael (The Carmichael Show) play Ross, Issa Rae (Insecure) is Rachel, Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip) is Phoebe, LaKeith Stanfield (Atlanta) is Chandler, Lil Rel Howery (Get Out) is Joey, and Tessa Thompson (Creed) is Monica.

The video is a recreation of the episode “The One Where No One’s Ready,” followed by a 4th Wall scene where comedian Hannibal Buress comes in and expresses his opinion. “It was terrible, man. It was wack as shit. It was just Seinfeld episodes with black people. Who asked for that?”

It ends with Carmichael watching a broadcast of the Oscars where “La La Land” was initially announced as the winner for Best Picture…until the unexpected happened.
