Coming out this week from Warner Bros. Pictures and Alcon Entertainment is their comedy Father Figures, starring Owen Wilson and Ed Helms.

Wilson and Helms are Kyle and Peter Reynolds, brothers whose eccentric mother raised them to believe their father had died when they were young. When they discover this to be a lie, they set out together to find their real father, and end up learning more about their mother than they probably ever wanted to know.

Father Figures also stars J.K. Simmons, comedian Katt Williams, NFL Hall of Fame quarterback-turned-actor Terry Bradshaw, Ving Rhames, Harry Shearer, and Oscar nominee June Squibb, with Oscar winner Christopher Walken, and Oscar nominee Glenn Close as the twins’ mother.

For Williams, who plays a hitchhiker that the brothers pick up while traveling to another destination, this is probably his biggest screen role in terms of exposure since he appeared with Ice Cube in First Sunday nearly ten years ago. Best known for his roles on Friday After Next, Rebound, Epic Movie, Norbit, The Perfect Holiday, Scary Movie 5 as well as top-rated comedy specials such as Katt Williams Live and American Hustle, it’s good to see Williams back on the big screen and entertaining folks again.

Blackfilm.com recently spoke with the comedian about being in this film and his role.
