The Beginning of the End |

Well folks, this is it. December has come and it's the beginning of the end for 2002 film. At last count, at least a WHOPPING 39 films are slated to come out this month. Films will be vying for financial success as well as Oscar considerations. It begins this week with Adaptation, which stars Oscar winners Nicholas Cage and Meryl Streep. Going up against them will be Oscar winner Robert DeNiro and Billy Crystal in the sequel Analyze That. Taye Diggs changes his game in the sci-fi Equilibrium, while John Leguizamo ups his game and stakes in Empire. Coming to more theaters and cities this week is Pandora's Box, which stars a Monica Calhoun (The Best Man) and Chrystale Wilson (The Players Club). Congratulations to Derek Luke for winning the Best

Board of Review for his role in the upcoming film Antwone
