Best of Black 2002 The impact of African-Americans in the film industry hopefully took
a turn for the better as “Black is Beautiful” was theme in March. History
was made when Denzel
Washington and Halle
Berry took home the Best Actor and Actress Academy Award respectively.
Will Smith was also nominated for his performance as Muhammed Ali in “Ali”.
