William Levy has been cast in a trio of Lionsgate movie projects. In Tyler Perry’s Single Mom’s Club he’ll play a character named Manny. Shooting starts after Thanksgiving. He’s also been cast in Addicted directed by Billy Woodruff and Rio Sangre directed by Chris Wyatt. He’ll play Quentin Matthews in Addicted which is based on the novel Zane’s Addiction. Cassandra Rains is adapting with Paul Hall (Shaft) producing.
In the horror-western Rio Sangre, Levy has the role of Brujo. Chris Wyatt is directing. Rio Sangre will be written by William Bivins and Ken Karn, with John Fiedler producing. Alex Vega also is attached to star.
Most recently the Cuban American model-turned-actor recurred on VH1′s Single Ladies and starred in Univision’s Sortilegio and the telenovela Triunfo del Amor. His other credits include Mi Vida Eres Tu, Acorralada and Pasión. Levy is repped by WME and John Carrabino Management.
