Making its TV debut on BET Networks on Saturday, September 16 is director Corey Grant‘s sensual drama “Illicit,” starring David Ramsey, Shireen Crutchfield, McKinley Freeman, Michele Weaver, Lanett Tachel, Dean Cain, Vivica A. Fox, Dionne Gipson, Michael Monks, Essence Atkins, Vincent A. Ward, Sade Kimora Young, Durrell “Tank” Babbs, Charlie Farrell, and Adam Senn.

Written by Grant and co-star Lanett Tachel, the film had its World Premiere at the 2016 American Black Film Festival and played at limited theaters this past May before hitting DVD/VOD release on May 23.

The story centers on Guy, a well-liked parole officer, and Sasha, a beautiful former model (Shireen Crutchfield), who enjoy a successful marriage until she gets the itch to go back to work. As the wife forms a friendship with an emerging photographer, the husband is dealing with a parolee who proves to be more than he bargained for.

As loose ends unravel and a world of secrets, sex, and lies creep closer to home, Illicit poses the simple question: “Can you have everything without losing it all?”
