Naomi Ackie, Sheila Atim, & Ivanno Jeremiah Join HBO’s Game Of Thrones Spinoff Series

These actors will join Naomi Watts, whose role as a “socialite” was announced months ago.

HBO’s still-unnamed Game of Thrones prequel has announced its cast, with British director SJ Clarkson tapped for the show’s pilot.

The cast, as announced by EW includes Naomi Ackie, Sheila Atim, Ivanno Jeremiah, Josh Whitehouse, Denise Gough, Jamie Campbell Bower, Alex Sharp, Georgie Henley and Toby Regbo.

These actors will join Naomi Watts, whose leading role as a “socialite” was announced months ago.

“Only one thing is for sure: From the horrifying secrets of Westeros’ history to the true origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries of the East to the Starks of legend — it’s not the story we think we know.”

Ackie has a leading upcoming role in Star Wars: Episode IX, and received accolades for her debut film role in 2017’s Lady Macbeth. She was also in the film Yardie and the Channel 4 series The Bisexual. Atim is an Award-winning British stage actress who was a series regular in Hulu’s Harlots; and Jeremiah’s credits include AMC’s Humans, Netflix’s Black Mirror, and stars in the upcoming film The Flood.
