LOT PATROL, a comedy series from writer Ernest Dancy, has been greenlit by Faith Media Distribution and Manny Halley’s Imani Media Group under Dancy’s The Mobile Television Network Company.
LOT PATROL is a half-hour sitcom, think “Reno 911” meets “The Office”, except it takes place on a movie studio lot and follows the antics of the zany security guards as they try ineptly to protect the interest of the studio.
Halley and Dancy will serve as executive producers and co-creators. Rodney Turner II and Yolanda Halley will also serve as producers.

Ernest Dancy: “We’re striving for success and to further show that inclusion will be the norm moving forward, especially when us as Black creative entrepreneurs are spearheading our own endeavors, partnering together and forming mutually beneficial relationships with the higher-ups in the film, television, and streaming ecosystems.”
“Manny’s been a manager for talents like Keyshia Cole, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj. He’s owned restaurants in Beverly Hills, and now he’s in the midst of a meteoric rise in the film and television space. Working with him, Yolanda Halley, and Rodeney Turner II is a great opportunity business wise, a fantastic opportunity to learn, and to build!”
“Producing Lot Patrol with Manny is going to be surreal, we’re both from Brooklyn, and we’re both here, living in LA, going after our dreams… oh, and the show is going to be absolutely hilarious!”

Manny Halley: “I’m in the process of building something special here, collaborating with Ernest and adding something as funny and entertaining as what LOT PATROL is going to be is conducive to that goal for my banner: A Manny Halley Production.”
“Imani Media Group, A Manny Halley Production, Faith Media Distribution: Black owned, independent, and we’re going to bring the viewers tons of laughs with LOT PATROL.”
Manny Halley is the owner of Imani Media Group, having segued over from the music world, into entrepreneurship and then head on into the film/tv industry (with productions both theatrically released and previously broadcast and streamed via BET, NetFlix, etc.). Halley began in television by producing “Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is” for BET and the spinoff, “Frankie and Neffe”. Most recently he and his company produced and distributed the films: “True to the Game 1, 2 & upcoming 3rd installment”, “Dutch”, and “Real Talk”.
Ernest Dancy was previously active in film & television mainly as an actor: imdb.me/ErnestDancy and is a co-founding CEO of an up and coming social communications networking app called PLUGMEIN ( www.plugmeinapp.com). Dancy is bringing things full circle, film and television wise, as a producer/creator/writer.
Ernest Dancy is repped by The Wayne Agency’s Terrece Lynn (owner) and himself.
