Sony Pictures has set release dates for some of its big comedy titles, including Think Like a Man Too. The sequel to Screen Gems’ box office hit Think Like A Man, which opened No. 1 at the domestic box office in April in 2012 and has grossed $91+M overall to date, will now open on June 20, 2014 opposite How to Train Your Dragon 2.
The film will be produced by Will Packer via his Rainforest Films banner.
While no cast has been announced, Keith Merryman and David A. Newman have been hired to write the film. Steve Harvey, on whose book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man the original film is based, will serve as executive producer alongside Rushion McDonald and Rob Hardy.
The original film, which stars Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Meagan Good, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Terrance J, Romany Malco, Gary Owen, Gabrielle Union, Lala Vazquez, and Arielle Kebbel.
