Warner Bros. has released the first trailer to Joe Wright’s live-action ‘Pan,’ which opens on July 17, 2015
The film stars Levi Miller as Pan, Hugh Jackman as the villainous Blackbeard, Garrett Hedlund as Hook; Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily; Adeel Akhtar as Smee, Amanda Seyfried as Mary; Jack Charles as The Chief/Tiger Lily’s father; Taejoo Na as Kwahu; Nonso Anozie as Bishop; Kathy Burke as Mother Barnabas; Kurt Egyiawan as Murray; Lewis MacDougall as Nibs; and newcomer Leni Zieglmeier as Wendy Darling.
Offering a new take on the origin of the classic characters created by J.M. Barrie, the film follows the story of an orphan who is spirited away to the magical Neverland. There, he finds both fun and dangers, and ultimately discovers his destiny—to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.
Written for the screen by Jason Fuchs. Greg Berlanti, Paul Webster and Sarah Schechter are producing, with Tim Lewis serving as executive producer.
