Here’s three international posters and a new trailer for thriller Dark Places, starring Oscar winner Charize Theron.
A feature adaptation of “Gone Girl” author Gillian Flynn’s best-selling novel, Dark Places tells the story of Libby Day (Theron), a woman who, at the age of 7, survives the massacre of her family and testifies against her brother (Corey Stoll) as the murderer. Twenty-five years later, a group obsessed with solving notorious crimes confronts her with questions about the horrific event.
Written and directed by Gilles Paquet-Brenner (Sarah’s Key), the film co-stars Nicholas Hoult, Christina Hendricks, Chloe Grace Moretz, Corey Stoll, Drea de Matteo, Sterling Jerins, Tye Sheridan and Shannon Kook.
Dark Places has already opened in France on April 8 and opens in the U.S. on August 7th.
