Comedian Hannibal Buress Latest To Join Cast Of ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’Posted by Wilson Morales

Variety is reporting that Hannibal Buress has joined the cast of Sony and Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming.” His role has yet to be given or described.
With Jon Watts directing Sony’s reboot of the “Spider-Man” franchise, Buress joins Tom Holland, who plays the titular superhero, Marisa Tomei, who will portray Aunt May, Michael Keaton as The Vulture, by Zendaya, Michael Barbieri, Kenneth Choi, Logan Marshall-Green, Donald Glover and Tony Revolori.
Robert Downey Jr. is set to reprise his role as Tony Stark (Iron Man). Both Holland and Tomei appeared with Downey Jr. in “Captain America: Civil War.”
Kevin Feige is producing with Amy Pascal. Production is expected to star this summer with the film hitting theaters on July 7, 2017.
Buress, a stand-up comedian, was recently seen opposite Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell in ‘Daddy’s Home.’ Upcoming roles includes ‘The Masterpiece,’ opposite brothers Dave and James Franco, followed by a role in Dwayne Johnson’s reboot of ‘Baywatch,’ which comes out next summer. He also lent his voice to Illumination’s ‘The Secret Life of Pets,’ which is due later this summer”
