Screen Gems has announced that has Taraji P. Henson‘s hit woman film “Proud Mary,” will hit theaters on January 26, 2018 during Black History Month.
Written by John Stewart Newman and Christian Swegal, Henson will play a hit woman whose life is turned completely around when she meets a young boy who awakens in her a maternal instinct she never knew she had. Screen Gems will set a director quickly.
Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan are producing the film, which is slated to start production in April in Boston.
