SHOWTIME has released photos of Sanaa Latham, Russell Hornsby & Christopher Meyer for season four of the Golden Globe Award winning drama series THE AFFAIR.

The series, starring Golden Globe nominee Dominic West, Golden Globe winner Ruth Wilson, Emmy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Maura Tierney and Screen Actors Guild Award nominee Joshua Jackson, will premiere on Sunday, June 17 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

THE AFFAIR explores the emotional and psychological effects of an affair that destroyed two marriages, and the crime that brings these individuals back together. Season four finds Noah (West), Helen (Tierney), Alison (Wilson) and Cole (Jackson) in their own orbits, alienated from each other, spinning further and further away from where they all began. Every character is involved in a new relationship, forcing them each to decide if they’re ready and willing to leave the past behind for good – with a season about new beginnings, tragic ends and the ever-elusive possibility of forgiveness.

Sanaa Lathan (Shots Fired) joins season four as Janelle, the tough-as-nails principal of the charter school where Noah teaches. Ramon Rodriguez (Iron Fist) guest stars as Ben, a Marine veteran now employed by the VHA and Alison’s new love interest.

Additional season four guest stars include Russell Hornsby (Grimm), Christopher Meyer (The Fosters), Amy Irving (Yentl), Phoebe Tonkin (The Vampire Diaries), Tim Matheson (Hart of Dixie) and Dina Meyer (Kingdom).

Hornsby will play Carl Gatewood, Janelle’s (Sanaa Lathan) ex-husband and Noah’s (West) rival for her affection. Carl was a brilliant, promising student in his own day but his experience at an elite university demoralized him and turned him against the system his ex-wife thrived within. Meyer will play Anton Gatewood, a defiant but brilliant high school student of Noah (West). Caught between his parents’ expectations, Anton struggles to find his own sense of self amid episodes of self-sabotage and doubt.

Writers Guild Award-winning playwright and writer/producer Sarah Treem (House of Cards, In Treatment) and Hagai Levi (In Treatment) created the series. Treem, also the showrunner, and Levi serve as executive producers. Jessica Rhoades is an executive producer on season four.
