BET Digital announces launch of new original weekly lifestyle show “It’s Too Early For This,” giving fans an unfiltered view into the “real lives” of celebrities before putting on their polished personas. In each episode, a new celebrity guest will walk fans through their typical day and in the process share personal stories about their lives and stardom before the lights and cameras turn on.
From playing video games to preparing a simple smoothie, to shuttling children through a pre-school routine and more see how stars start their day including DDG, D Smoke, Doe Boy, Light Skin Keisha, and Yung Baby Tate. “It’s Too Early For This,” premiered Tuesday, August 3 on BET.com and BET’s YouTube channel.
Watch the first episode featuring rapper and YouTube star DDG below.
The first episode features Pontiac, Michigan rapper DDG. Epic Records’ DDG has quietly become one of rap’s hottest new stars. In addition to regularly attracting millions of monthly listeners on Spotify, he has posted up over 450 million streams, while his platinum-certified smash “Moonwalking In Calabasas” has surpassed 200 million-plus global streams and taken the #1 spot on Rap Caviar three separate times. He recently graced the 2021 XXL Freshman Class cover and landed the cover for Uproxx’s July issue.
After 2018’s Take Me Serious, he rose to the top of the hip-hop class on VALEDICTORIAN. Within just a year, the single “ARGUMENTS” scored his first gold certification. Igniting 2020, he achieved a major breakthrough with “Moonwalking In Calabasas (Remix)” featuring BLUEFACE, earning a ubiquitous hit and his second gold plaque in the process. Generating over half-a-billion total streams and views and building a rabid fan base, DDG’s influence proves downright inescapable.
