Blair Underwood is joining the ABC drama series Quantico as a new series regular for Season 2, states Deadline.
He’ll play Owen Hall. Charming, direct and comfortable, he’s the intelligent and inspirational CIA officer every fledgling operative wishes he or she could learn from. But is he running them, or using them for something else?
“Blair Underwood is the kind of actor you dream of writing for. Be it romantic comedy, dark drama, or high-octane thriller – there is nothing he can’t do,” said series creator and executive producer Joshua Safran. “We look forward to creating a role that will showcase his huge range and boundless charisma.”
Underwood was recently seen in last season of The Good Wife. Other TV credits include Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, Ironside, The Event, In Treatment, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Dirty Sexy Money and Sex & the City. On the stage, he starred opposite Cicely Tyson in the Broadway revival of The Trip to Bountiful.
