Brian Tyree Henry (“Atlanta,” “This Is Us”) and Kenneth Choi (“The People V. OJ Simpson”) have come onboard Drew Pearce’s much-anticipated directorial debut Hotel Artemis, joining Academy Award Winner Jodie Foster, Emmy Award Winner Sterling K. Brown, Charlie Day, Jenny Slate, Academy Award Nominee Jeff Goldblum, Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella, and Emmy Award Nominee Zachary Quinto (Star Trek franchise).

Golden Globe and Emmy winner Marc Platt (“La La Land,” “Grease: Live”) is producing alongside Adam Siegel and The Ink Factory’s Stephen Cornwell and Simon Cornwell. Principal photography is set to begin this Thursday in Los Angeles.

WME Global is handling U.S. rights. Lionsgate launched international sales on The Ink Factory financed and produced action thriller in Berlin last February.

Penned by Pearce and set in the near future, Hotel Artemis follows a nurse (Foster) who runs an underground hospital for Los Angeles’ most sinister criminals, and finds that one of her patients is actually there to assassinate another.

Henry stars in FX’s Golden Globe winning series “Atlanta” and has also appeared in NBC’s hit dramedy “This Is Us.” He is also in pre-production on Steve McQueen’s “Widows” and earlier this year filmed three films, “Fam-i-ly,” “Irreplaceable You” and “White Boy Rick.” Choi most recently starred in David Ayer’s Bright and will next be seen in Columbia Pictures’ Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Starz!’s “Counterpart.”

Henry is represented by CAA, JWS Entertainment, and Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen Mandelbaum Morris & Klein; and Choi by TalentWorks, Atlas Artists, and Myman Greenspan Fineman Fox Rosenberg Light.

The Ink Factory is a multi-platform production company dedicated to high-end story telling through film, television and on digital. The company is behind the Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning drama series “The Night Manager,” and Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk, directed by Ang Lee.
