Charlize Theron In Talks To Reunite With Italian Job Director F. Gary Gary In Fast 8Posted by Wilson Morales

Variety is reporting that Academy Award winner Charlize Theron is in talks to joined the cast of Universal Pictures’ “Fast 8,” to be helmed by her “Italian Job” director F. Gary Gray.
The site states that producers are looking at Theron to play the villain in the next installment, which is set to hit theaters April 14, 2017 and is planned to launch a new trilogy of films.
Fast 8 will be followed by a ninth film to be released April 19, 2019 and a tenth film planned to hit theaters April 2, 201.
Vin Diesel will return for Fast 8 along with franchise regulars Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Elsa Pataky and Lucas Black reprising their roles as street racers-turned-international criminals-turned-super-secret agents. Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson and Kurt Russell are expected to return as well.
Principal photography Fast 8 is planned to take place in both New York and Atlanta, Georgia. Recent reports suggest that two other possible locations for the film could be the previously-unexplored Russia and Iceland.
Theron was last seen playing Furiosa in George Miller‘s Oscar nominated film Mad Max: Fury Road and is currently shooting director David Leitch’s The Coldest City. She’s also attached to star in Sony Pictures’ The Gray Man.
