The Weinstein Co. has released an international trailer to Justin Chadwick’s Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, starring Idris Elba as Nelson Mandela and Naomie Harris as Winnie Mandela.
Opening on November 29, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom is based on South African President Nelson Mandela’s autobiography of the same name, which chronicles his early life, coming of age, education and 27 years in prison before becoming President and working to rebuild the country’s once segregated society.
Also featured in the film are Tony Kgoroge, Riaad Moosa, Zolani Mkiva, Jamie Bartlett, Lindiwe Matshikiza, Deon Lotz and Terry Pheto.
