Lionsgate has released five “Lotería Card” Posters, paying homage to traditional Lotería cards – the Latin game that originated in Mexico. The cards feature members of the incredible cast including Golden Globe Award winner Emily Blunt, Academy Award winner Benicio del Toro, Academy Award nominee Josh Brolin along with other images that capture the themes of SICARIO, which was directed by the critically-acclaimed Denis Villeneuve.
The crime drama opens in limited release on September 18th and expands wide on September 25th.
The film stars Emily Blunt, Benicio Del Toro, Jon Bernthal, Josh Brolin, Jeffrey Donovan, Sarah Minnich, Raoul Trujillo, and Maximiliano Hernández.
In Mexico, SICARIO means hitman.
In the lawless border area stretching between the U.S. and Mexico, an idealistic FBI agent [Emily Blunt] is enlisted by an elite government task force official [Josh Brolin] to aid in the escalating war against drugs.
Led by an enigmatic consultant with a questionable past [Benicio Del Toro], the team sets out on a clandestine journey forcing Kate to question everything that she believes in order to survive.
