According to The Wrap, “12 Years A Slave” star Chiewtel Ejiofor and “Fruitvale Station” actor Michael B. Jordan are in talks to join Casey Affleck in John Hillcoat‘s cop thriller “Triple Nine.”

Cate Blanchett and Christoph Waltz are already included in the crime drama. Afleck would be replacing Charlie Hunnam in this film, which is being produced through Anonymous Content’s Keith Redmon, Brad Dorros and Steve Golin with Megan Ellison financing through Panorama Media.

Written by Matt Cook, the film centers on a group of crooked L.A. police officers who realize they must shoot one of their own in order to get away with planning a major heist. They choose as their victim a rookie and honorable young officer (played by Affleck). Ejiofor will play a career criminal behind the heist, with Jordan as a cop who has infiltrated the gang, and is working with Affleck on a set up.
