Comedy Central Releases ‘Awkwafina is Nora From Queens’ Season 2 Trailer

Comedy Central releases the official season 2 trailer and key art for Awkwafina is Nora From Queens and announces season 2 guest stars: Margaret Cho (All-American Girl) as well as previously announced Alan Kim (Minari).

Season 2 premieres with a special two episode event on August 18th at 10 PM ET/PT.

Creator and writer Awkwafina (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Farewell, Crazy Rich Asians) stars in the hit comedy series inspired by her real-life growing up in Queens, NY. Raised by her Dad (BD Wong) and Grandma (Lori Tan Chinn) alongside her cousin (Bowen Yang), Nora Lin leans on her family as she navigates life and young adulthood in outer borough-NYC.

Awkwafina is Nora From Queens Season 2 also features Gabo Augustine, Michelle Buteau, Jennifer EspositoChrissie Fit, Jonathan ‘Dumbfoundead’ ParkJaboukie Young WhiteWai Ching Ho, and Liang Ying He reprising their roles from the first season.

The series is available on HBO Max, with the second season airing on the service following a first run broadcast on Comedy Central.

Awkwafina is an actress, comedian, rapper, author and television host. She rose to fame in 2012 with her song, My Vag, and burst onto the acting scene with her role as Peik Lin Goh in 2018’s Crazy Rich Asians. She can be seen in 2019’s The Farewell and in the upcoming Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings to be released July 2021.
