Deadline is reporting that Cory Hardrict joined Nicolas Cage in the bank heist drama “#211,” which will be written and directed by York Alec Shackleton.
In the Millennium/Nu Image film, the story centers on a bank robbery with a good cop (Cage) trying to thwart the heist; in police code, 211 means robbery in progress.
Hardrict will play Officer Hanson, his tough-as-nails partner.
Johnathan Yunger and Jeffrey Greenstein are producing. Filming is set to begin this month in Bulgaria.
Hardrict, who co-starred with Bradley Cooper in Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper, will next be seen in Summit Entertainment’s Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me. He then appears in the Netflix original film Naked; followed by LAbyrinth with Johnny Depp and Forest Whitaker.
