Danielle Nicolet has landed the female lead role opposite Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart in New Line Cinema’s buddy action-comedy Central Intelligence. Along with Ed Helms and Bobby Brown, who will co-star in the film, Warner Bros. release the film on June 17, 2016.
The story begins with a class reunion approaching, as a former high school sports star turned accountant (Hart) is contacted by a classmate (Johnson) who was bullied and humiliated back in the day. The “loser” that the accountant remembers is now a CIA contract killer who ropes him into helping foil a plot to sell classified military secrets. Nicolet will play Maggie, the wife of Hart’s character who was his high school sweetheart.
Rawson Marshall Thurber (‘We’re The Millers’) will be directing the film with Bluegrass Films’s Scott Stuber producing the film along with Peter Principato and Paul Young of Principato-Young Entertainment. Ed Helms is exec producing.
Having guest starred on episodes of numerous series, Nicolet was most recently on BET’s The Game as Yana.
