20th Century Fox has revealed the special features set to arrive with the Deadpool Blu-ray, which will debut in stores on May 10.
Deadpool, directed by Tim Miller, is based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero. It tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
The Deadpool cast also includes Gina Carano as Angel Dust, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Morena Baccarin as Copycat, Ed Skrein as Ajax and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. Serbian actor Stefan Kapicic is the voice of the mutant Colossus.
Deadpool is currently the highest-grossing movie of 2016 and the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all-time worldwide. The film has brought in over $350 million domestically and over $745 million worldwide.
