This is the introduction of filmmaker, Dominga Martin and her docu-series “Ready, Set. Go!” which follows her and crew to set as she directs her first feature film. A romantic comedy being produced by Monty Ross–the producer who teamed up with Spike Lee to produce Spike’s first 7 films including: She’s Gotta Have It, School Daze, Do The Right Thing, Jungle Fever and more!
The romantic comedy stars a few of Hollywood’s brightest & freshest faces which will be revealed in the docu-series.
Martin’s production company, House of Ming is a boutique motion picture company based in Brooklyn, New York. They specialize in all aspects of film production (narrative, documentaries, music videos, commercials).
House of Ming has produced the Award Winning short film YELLOW, which aired on BET J’s The Best Shorts, in addition to winning the Best Narrative for the 2005 New York Hip Hop Odyssey International Film Festival. YELLOW screened for 5 years across the country, in addition to The Mediterranean Festival at Sea and BAM Cinemas in Brooklyn, New York.
