Here’s an exclusive clip from Marley Africa Road Trip, which hits stores on May 7.
Directed by David Alexanian, the documentary features Ziggy Marley (The Musician, 5 time Grammy Winner, son of Bob Marley), Rohan Marley (The Farmer, son of Bob Marley), and Robbie Marley (The Ninja, son of Bob Marley) on a motorcycle trip through the continent in search of “their father’s dream of a unified Africa:”
Bob Marley was a musical prophet. He left behind the most remarkable body of recorded work which remains timeless and universal. His music has moved people and has started movements with a message of unity, love and faith. In 1980 he travelled to Africa with his family to perform a landmark concert to celebrate the freedom of Zimbabwe. 30 years after Bob Marley’s journey, his sons Ziggy, Rohan and Robbie travelled to South Africa to continue his legacy and embark upon their own journey.
