Total Film has debuted the first image from Guillermo del Toro‘s sci-fi action film Pacific Rim.
Opening on July 12, 2013, the film stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Max Martini, Willem Dafoe, Robert Kazinsky, Clifton Collins Jr., Diego Klattenhoff, and Ron Perlman.
“Pacific Rim” is a science fiction treatment by Travis Beacham which sees a future Earth defending itself from attacking creatures. There is no word on the origin of these beings, though the title suggest that they may come from beneath the sea.
