First Look At La La Anthony In A&E’s Drama Series Unforgettable Posted by Wilson Morales

Here’s the first look at Alani “La La” Anthony, who is set to be a regular cast member of the procedural drama “Unforgettable.” The series returns for Season 4 On Friday, November 13 with back-to-back episodes at 8 PM and 9 PM, but this time on a new network, A & E.
Having premiered back in 2011, the series was cancelled twice by CBS. Poppy Montgomery stars as NYPD Detective Carrie Wells, who has a rare memory condition, hyperthymesia, which she utilizes to solve some of New York’s most dangerous crimes. Although at times her gift can be a struggle, her memory has been imperative in helping her and partner Al Burns (Dylan Walsh) maintain a 100% clearance rate on a staggering number of criminal cases.
Montgomery, Walsh, and James Hiroyuki Liao as Major Crimes team member Jay Lee are the only returning cast members. Options had expired on the previous supporting cast when the series was cancelled a second time by CBS.
Anthony, who was last seen on Starz’s Power, will play Delina Michaels, an up-and-coming medical examiner successful in everything but, alas, love. She becomes indispensable at the Major Crimes lab of the NYPD, as well as romantically challenged in her new job.
In the premiere episode on A & E, NYPD Detective Carrie Wells (Montgomery) is on a career high, making headlines as New York’s most decorated cop. But her recent success will probe to be short-lived as she faces some of the most challenging cases of her career.
Newcomers this season also include Kathy Najimy (Veep) as Captain Sandra Russo, the team’s new boss and E.J. Bonilla (Revenge) as young, wisecracking Detective “Denny” Padilla who has a penchant for Carrie, much to the dismay of Al. Additional players include Skeet Ulrich (Law and Order: LA) as Carrie’s mysterious long lost husband Eddie Martin and comedienne Rachel Dratch (Saturday Night Live) as Rosie Webb, the patience-testing star witness in a high-profile securities fraud case whom Carrie and Al are tasked with safely delivering to Miami. Grammy-winner Ashanti (Army Wives) is Stella, a gorgeous jazz singer caught up in the underbelly of NYC’s music scene, who catches the eye of Al.
Unforgettable is produced by Timberman-Beverly Productions and Jones Agee Productions in association with Sony Pictures TV. Executive Producers include creators Ed Redlich and John Bellucci as well as Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, Bill Chais and Poppy Montgomery.
