Paramount Pictures released a pic of Ving Rhames and Jeremy Renner from the fifth installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, along with a teaser trailer.
The only actor besides Tom Cruise to appear in all five franchise films, Ving is reprising his role as the tech savvy Luther, aid to Ethan Hunt and the IMF.
Written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the cast includes Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Simon McBurney, Sean Harris and Rebecca Ferguson and features a screenplay by Will Staples and Drew Pearce.
In “Rogue Nation,” Ethan and team take on their most impossible mission yet, eradicating the Syndicate – an International rogue organization as highly skilled as they are, committed to destroying the IMF.
A Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot production, Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation will hit 2D and IMAX theaters July 31.
