Deadline is reporting that Forest Whitaker is in talks to join Liam Neeson and other returning actors including Maggie Grace in ‘Taken 3.’
The first film grossed more than $226M on a $25M budget and the sequel took in $376M worldwide.
Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen wrote the screenplay for Taken 3 with Luc Besson‘s EuropaCorp producing. 20th Century Fox will distribute the film.
Whitaker, who was last seen in Lee Daniels’ The Butler, will next be seen in upcoming psychological thriller, Repentance, with Anthony Mackie and Sanaa Lathan.
