HBO has announced the final season of “Game of Thrones” will launch this April.
The news was revealed in a promotional video released by HBO on Tuesday, which teased that all of the conflict fans have seen in the show thus far has all been building to this final confrontation with the White Walkers.
During NYCC 2018 when asked was about the final season, SophieTurner said, “Game of Thrones is done.” As far as her character for the last season, “Sansa comes into her own. In the past few seasons, she was lost. She doesn’t know where she wants to be and who she wants to be and who she wants to surround herself with. This season she’s very, very self-assured. She knows what she wants. She knows what she stands for and she faces threats. We’ll see how that goes.”
