Geoffrey Owens & Damaris Lewis Cast In Deon Taylor’s Thriller ‘Fatale’Posted by Wilson Morales

Deon Taylor revealed today that he has cast Geoffrey Owens (“The Cosby Show,” “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) and Damaris Lewis (“BlackKklansman”) in his noir thriller ‘Fatale”, which just began filming in Los Angeles. Owens and Lewis join Hilary Swank, Michael Ealy, Mike Colter, and Tyrin Turner in the story that centers on a married man (Ealy) who is tricked into a murder scheme by a seductive female police detective (Swank). Lewis plays Michael Ealy’s character’s wife, Traci, while Owens plays his attorney.
Taylor (Screen Gems’ upcoming “The Intruder,” “Traffik,” “Supremacy” “Off Script”) is directing “Fatale” and also producing the film with his Hidden Empire Film Group partners Roxanne Avent and Robert F. Smith.
David Loughery (“Lakeview Terrace,” “Obsessed”) wrote the screenplay. Two-time Oscar® nominee Dante Spinotti (“L.A. Confidential,” “Heat”) is the DP, marking his third collaboration with Taylor.
Roxanne Avent is overseeing the production for Hidden Empire Film Group, which is fully financing the movie. Endeavor Content is handling worldwide sales of the film.
