Emmy-nominated Scandal star Kerry Washingtonis in talks to star in the Warner Bros. thriller “Unforgettable,” which will be directed by Belle director Amma Asante, states Variety.
The centers on a man whose new wife is menaced by his ex-wife.
Christina Hodson is writing the script with Denise DiNovi producing the film with partner Alison Greenspan.
Asante, whose ‘Belle’ film was released earlier this year, was selected as one of Variety’s 10 Directors to Watch in 2013, while Washington last appeared in Tina Gordon Chism’s “Peeples.”
Update: Deadline is reporting that Kate Hudson will play the other female lead. She recently wrapped Barry Levinson’s Rock The Kasbah opposite Bill Murray, Zooey Deschanel and Bruce Willis.
