Set to return Wednesday, September 26 at 8 PM, Fox has released the key art to Season 5 of its hit series, Empire.
Cast includes: Terrence Howard as Lucious Lyon, Taraji P. Henson as Cookie Lyon, Jussie Smollett as Jamal Lyon, Bryshere Gray as Hakeem Lyon, Trai Byers as Andre Lyon, Gabourey Sidibe as Becky, Serayah as Tiana Brown,and Ta’Rhonda Jones as Porsha.
Recurring Cast Members include Andre Royo as Thirsty Rawlings, and Forest Whitaker as Eddie Barker.
Nicole Ari Parker, who plays Eddie Barker’s (Forest Whitaker) ex-wife, Giselle, has officially been promoted to a series regular for Season 5.
From Imagine Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television, “Empire” was created by Academy Award nominee Lee Daniels and Emmy Award winner Danny Strong, and is executive-produced by Daniels, Strong, Academy Award- and Emmy Award-winning producer Brian Grazer, Francie Calfo, Sanaa Hamri, Dennis Hammer, Matt Pyken and Diane Ademu-John.
Brett Mahoney is executive producer and showrunner.
